In 2007, Stein Roger Sordal decided to create an acoustic solo album - "In Fort Knox With A Penny". He invited some of his musician friends into his "Brown Sound Studio" and recorded, mixed and produced the album himself. The disc was picked up by MTG Productions and was released in January 2008. The disc went on to sell well.

This collaboration had gone so well that they decided to form a new band. Towards the end of 2008 the planning of a new album began, and thus Angels Motel was born.

The band now consisted of previous members of: Animal Alpha, Green Carnation, Petter Carlsen, Erik Faber & Tørst.
Their names... are: Stein Roger Sordal (guitar/vocals), Tommy Jacksonville (drums), Bjarne L. Severinsen (bass), Kenneth Silden (keyboards) and Christer- André Cederberg (guitar). The album "Love Storm & Temporary Honeys" was born during January-March 2009. Christer-André Cederberg was hired to mix the album and Chris Sansom to master it. Individually, the 5 band members all have their own talents, but together it just goes to another level;

Angels Motel's debut album "Love Storm and Temporary Honey" is something very special; a world of meaty rock n roll, huge synths, bright strong melodies and gritty contemporary narratives.
